We supply licensed wine and cider producers and other fermentation businesses. Tell us about your business and we’ll review your application.
A simple, no-surprises process — it’s a request for a quote, and nothing is charged until you’ve seen and agreed a pro-forma. This is a temporary way to apply and order while our full online shop is being built.
Add the products you need and submit a request — a request, not a purchase.
We check our stock and confirm the products you require.
You receive a pro-forma by email with confirmed prices and lead times.
Settle the pro-forma by bank transfer before we despatch.
Goods leave the warehouse, usually 1 to 2 working days from cleared payment.
Once the items have been agreed, an order request to pro-forma is usually within a working day. Despatch is usually 1 to 2 working days from cleared payment for stocked items. Anything coming in from France takes longer, and we’ll make the lead time clear, depending on your delivery needs.
Bank transfer against the pro-forma invoice. There’s no card checkout on the website. Keeping payment off the site is what lets us confirm stock and price properly before anything is charged. Bank details are on every pro-forma.
Tell us. If you’re up against a ferment that won’t wait, call or email and say so. We prioritise stocked items and will do everything we can to turn it around quickly. You can mark an order urgent when you submit it.
Yes, plenty. Laffort’s yeasts, nutrients, enzymes and fining agents are used in cider houses as much as wineries, and being in Devon we’d be in trouble if they weren’t.
No minimum. Order what you need.
Yes. Ask when you order, or any time after, and we’ll email the COA for your batch. Plenty of our customers need them for SALSA or BRC audits, so it’s a routine request. Everything we despatch is batch-tracked, which makes the paperwork easy to pull.
Yes. For any CLP-classified product we supply, such as potassium metabisulphite or certain cleaning agents, we hold the manufacturer’s safety data sheet and will email it on request. Ask when you order or any time after.
